Useful tips in Kyoto
If you stay three days or longer and take public transportations of Kyoto
city, purchase the traffica card of Kyoto city ( ¥1000 ) and you will get
discount in taking metro-bus and/or subway.
You may need it every two or three days, but it is still very convenient; no
need to prepare coins every time.
Or if you are sure to take bus more than two times per day, one day
card( ¥500 ) pays, which is applicable only for the bus( ¥220 ).
You can purchase them from a bus driver or at the ticket machine of subway
station.
